WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Meters First" Submariner, ref 5513, circa 1967, 42mm including crown guards x 47mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case and bi-directional timing bezel with MK2 fat font bezel insert, brown leather strap, original black matte Meters First dial with tritium painted lume plots, 26J cal 1520, s#1588049, triple signed, inside back ref 5513 with date code of II.67.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide, light spotting on plate and rotor edges as well as wear to brass on leading edge of main plate; excellent-plus dial with very light oil spots and lightly discolored lume plot at 5 and 12; fine hands have aged a much darker color than the dial lume as well as having lightly spotted finish; polished case shows light wear, lug chamfers are visible, dings on top right and bottom right lugs as well as dings on the backs of the lugs from being worn on a bracelet and scuffs on caseback from a slipping case wrench; original no dot Rolex signed crown shows little wear, good threads; good crystal; resealed for auction.
